PAT testing obligations in London
Under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, employers and landlords across London are legally required to maintain electrical equipment in a safe condition. Regular portable appliance testing is the recognised method for demonstrating compliance — and a documented test register is your evidence in the event of an inspection or insurance claim.
